FULFILLMENT SERVICE is a kinetic installation and performance of human and robotic labor.

Within the symbolic landscape of a fulfilment center facing perpetual automation apocalypse, workers are caught in a never-ending, yet slowly unraveling physical simulation of human labor.

Three human workers inhabit a deconstructed assembly line where they vacuum seal, label, and catalog concrete rubble into a large scale walk-in freezer. Their environment is an automated retail-factory floor, equipped with an AI-driven computer vision system which algorithmically control and orchestrate a choreography of robotic sculptures : A shopping cart that drives backwards and forwards in endless circles, a CCTV camera that slowly dispenses multi-vitamins, a deflated hyperventilating fire extinguisher, a glass-front refrigerator with self-contained rainstorm weather pattern, and a worn-out automated tire that perpetually bangs itself into a wall.   The result is an AI driven performance of human and robotic labor in a perpetual loop of improvisation and deconstruction.
